UPDATE.

On monday she passed 140,000 miles.

Today she passed 140,140 which makes 24,000 miles in my ownership.

The water leak appears to have been fixed although I seem to be noticing more oil now.

Her tax runs out at the end of February . . . .

Update.

This morning she passed 141,000 Miles.

Tomorrow I'm going to Southampton so that'll be another 200-odd which'll make it over 25,000 miles in my ownership.

I really thought it wouldn't happen.

The water leak is definately sorted.

The oil leak has increased, now, dramically.

The oil seems to be coming out of everywhere. I can't trace it so I'll keep topping her up and parking her down the road from my house at night.

I think the rings have gone as there does seem to be alot of oil around the oil filler-cap (push-on type).

Power's not great, but then it never has been.

Think I'll put off the oil change as new, thinner oil will only leak out quicker.

Try a bottle of stopleak i think STP make it and it works to a point

Used it before, works on rubber gaskets, not so well on cork and paper ones . .

O.K.

She passed 142,140 miles today . . . Making 26,000 miles in my posession.

. . . . 14 months . . . about 1,860 miles per month.

From the 1st of Feb to today (4 weeks) she's done 2,725 miles !!!

That's a record for me I think.

Put 6 months tax on her this morning as well, that's £60.50. Bitch.
