I couldn't get up our hill, I spun 360 luckily didn't hit the cars parked on the side of the road scary stuff

I then treid the bus, but they didn't turn up & whilst I was at the bus stop my boss phoned to say don't bother coming in as the weather is going to get worse and you might not get home again, so working from home

Unbelievable, I made it into Luton today from MK no probs.

Most people in the office are talking about going home early to, I suppose after 2 power cuts people are starting to get a little fed up with waiting for the servers to come back up.

Although I cant prove it I'm sure the countries IQ drops when it starts to snow, the amount of people I saw having problems out on the roads this morning was ridiculous, what a bunch of schmucks, it's only a bit of snow for god sake.

For me when it snows the only thing that drops is my mental age,

Anywho......

I'm of for a snow ball fight in the park.

I'm ok, was a bit scary but I glided the car back onto the drive, didn't spin the wheels and only dabbed the brakes and was in 2nd gear, but non of it helped.

I cannot access any of the in house systems at work from home, but I can reply and forward on e-mails so I'm doing that, guess it's better than nothing at all.

Lucky for some, we're still here and really busy as everyone else in the firm grinds our remote access to a halt

Yeah, I thought it was a bit excessive myself seen as i managed to cycle in perfectly fine. but hey, thats what they said to do so thats fine by me, i've taken the dog for an excitable walk in campbell park & helped my mum grit the road so its clear for tomorrow morning..

I set off for London about 7.30 and was at my desk before 9. Barely anyone in! Most living in London had problems cos of no buses at all and most of the tubes are suffering heavy delays. And most of the commuter trains into south London appear to be not working.

So...

Those of us who DID get in got sent home at 11.30 "as the weather is continuing to deteriorate" etc .

Was worse in London than up here but seems daft that NONE of the buses can run...wasn't THAT bad...

I've decided I'm leaving work at half-four regardless of how busy we are . . . one guy's on holiday today (fair enough) and the guv'nors F*cked off - leaving just two of us.

No one can expect anymore when you've been set an example like that can they ?

What a fecking joke this county is....

I left for the gym at 05:30am this morning on my push bike no problem in heavy snow

Just got home using the roads ( no cycle paths ) because they were empty

This country is turning into a bunch of girls, oh it's snowing I have to go home
