Having had yet another re-think on what my next biggish spend is going to be, I am currently looking at wheels.

Any recommendations for places to look for some decent 17inch alloys?

ARE Ansen, I think they're called.  Looks sweet and come in 7" and 8" rim.

Check Northants tyres website . . . .

Been there, looking for alternatives.

Also looking to go to a 9/9.5 width.

211's are nice like the Torq-thrusts . . . the 212's look a tad modern.

I don't think the 212's would suit a Second Gen IMO.

Pretty much my thoughts.

I didn't want to go with TT2's, but there isn't much options for the look I am after (I want'ed some in the same pattern, but with a twist, but I can't find them anymore.)

Changed my mind... I want these!

http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/listproducts.asp?cat=101102

whats the correct Backspacing & Bolt circle for 3rd gens?  also will 8" wheels fit the rears?

will 7" fronts & 8" rears have different backspacing?  was thinking 16" rims

Chrome Plated, Mate - Don't bother - they'll rot in no time.

VERY sweet, though.

Alloy "Corrodes", but Compared to Chrome Plated it's marvellous.
