Ok boys and girls (not sure of the mix in here yet, don't want to offend
) let's shed some light on the subject. Roadkill, the "port" tou see in the picture is for a heat riser style choke used mainly in the 70s. Edelbrock and Offy are pretty good about casting the name of the unit into it, Performer, 360, SP2P, ect. The only Weiand I've seen do this is the Team G, which is equivalent to an Edelbrock Victor jr. A high RPM intake, 3500+. A good street car with a mild cam, or just to improve over the stock manifold, you will want a dual plane, Performer type of intake. Single plane intakes, Torker, Team G, Victor, require more extensive engine modifications to get the most out of them. More radical camshafts, lower gearing, higher stall torque converter (automatic), ect.
