If a bike is built from scratch ie all brand new parts you will need to SVA it, and it is worse than a car because of bits sticking out etc.
What are you planning on doing as there are ways around it

If you have a log book for a bike and you use the frame number or engine thats fine. Obviously the bike has to be quite similar,

Im getting a little bored with cars and was thinking of building a chopper next time as they dont take up so much room. I have no intenion of ever riding it just register it and sell it on. I dont really enjoy the driving of cars but more the building chances are im gonna sell the 55 wen its done thi year as the fun part for me will be done

The bubble didnt last as long over here and ALOT of people bought in complete bikes thinking they would get rich and they got stuck with them.
If you were doing one for yourself to ride or keep then fair enough but building one from scratch is alot of work, Believe me it takes longer than they show on OCC
