Title: How much power does your engine make?
Post by: Jamieg285 on April 24, 2014, 11:50:10 am
I bet it's not as good as this rusty old 305 (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rofls.gif)

Not unachievable with a 305, just highly unlikely! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

They (TG.O) reckon figures around 400~ are possible with a 305 with a decent set of heads, headers and manifold. The thing that lets them down the most is the stock intake and exhaust manifolds.

Interested in the axle though, even if just as a spare... (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/chiny.gif)

Well, 240bhp when it was built (according to the brochure...) I bet its not that much after 25 years, even in its top condition.

I'd guestimate 180bhp - tops.  (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rofls.gif)

You can never have too many spares (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/up.gif)
