Damn it!!!

The fuel tank in the dart is knackered along with the sender.

Dean you were right, it was fudged up with fibreglass and leaks like a sieve out the bottom.

Right options:

Buy a brand new tank from the US for $400+sender+filler neck+extras
Buy a smaller Alloy fuel tank and mount in the boot £140

Has anyone got a alloy tank or fuel cell sitting in their garage they dont want????

it might be worth giving it to a fabrication company mate, although i doubt they would be willing to repair it, they may be able to knock something up for less than you might expect

I'd go for that option for now . . . . possibly get something from ebay for under £100 . . . . . then, when you've got the cash flog the alloy one and get the stock replacement.

I wish I'd known you was getting it before you brought it as I could've warned you about these potential headaches . . . . . .
