Some of you may remember I posted a while back about the Numan covers band I was in. Well, I left last month and decided to get back to doing my own stuff and Ocean Road, the first new track I've finished is up on my myspace page along with some older ones (1 of the reasons I've not been around much lately!).

Its an electronic instrumental and features sounds taken from a Corvette all the way through. I think it makes a good track to have on while driving rather...um...quickly meself.

Anyway, if anyone cares to take a listen its the first track playing at:-

If anyone wants a copy, head on over to my page over at Garage Band where you can download it. Thanks, as ever, to those of you who've had a listen!

Got a (music!) keyboard connected to a PC running Cubase and some software instruments - synths, guitars, drums - all within the PC. Technology is amazing these days...

You ever try nuendo to create the beat? I used to use nuendo to create the beat, Cubase to refine it and add the instruments. I love Cubase

Aha, you speak...Steinberg?! No, never used Nuendo. Perhaps I should look into it - is it so different? I've got another version of that track planned with real guitar and some "proper" sounding drums.

Very, Not as user friendly, but to build a beat from nothing, fantastic once mastered
