War of the worlds 2009 tour
« on: September 15, 2008, 04:33:17 pm »
Just had email from www.thewaroftheworlds.com about the tour for next year.

You can register interest about this on http://tickets.thewaroftheworlds.com/holding/list/

The 2009 tour is also the 30th anniversary tour - so they are hoping to make it even better than before

It starts in June.
I've said my preferred venue is london, but Birmingham would be cool as well

Can't wait to finally see this in real life

"I am delighted to now officially announce the dates. In celebration of 30 years
since the release of the original recording, The War of The Worlds will play all the
major Arenas in the UK!

I would never have believed that 30 years after the album's release, The War of The
Worlds would be reaching more people than ever before, and in this special
anniversary year, the team & I are working on exciting new ingredients and special
effects to make the 2009 Tour the most exciting production yet! You really will have
to see it for yourself, the SFX we are taking out on the road are breathtaking!

We now have a great cast in place - Justin Hayward is returning once again, we
announced Jennifer Ellison to play Beth earlier this week, and we'll be announcing
more over the coming weeks.

So watch this space, and I hope you'll be joining us next year on tour
