Is it just the name 'Camaro' you don't like Mary Ann, as I can't for the life of me work out the major difference between the 2 cars?

I've heard that in the States that the third gen Camaro Z28 is considered to be the Ford Capri 2.8i over there, as the popular choice for trailer park Cletus's. I think thats why I gradually migrated from a Capri to one. I'm proud of my chav roots.

To be honest there isn't a lot of difference. Firebirds were generally better spec'ed.

And I'm sorry but my 69 Bird is a one year body style it's unique! Most 67, 68, and 69 Camaros bassically look the same. with the exception of the 67 with the wing windows. or the RS/SS Maros or Yenkos or Pace cars. So I just feel Pontiac has the styling all over the chevys.

Plus the fact you see more Camaros than Firebirds so the birds are a bit more a rare sight especially stock ones such as mine. Many are modified oo custom. Which is fine if that's what you like.
