its my neighbours it was running when he got, it but lost its oil and water in spectacular fasion on the m1,on the way home

so hes bought another.....

its a good job we measured it carefully b4 we left....

5 inches spare on the back and 2 inches across.....we had to pull the ramps off to come back though...

a stop for fuel at woodall services nr sheffield....

back 9 hrs later....

now theres a pair of em

the panel van on the right is getting stripped for parts,
grill headlamps etc,shocks ..what ever is good...then it will be stripped and sold...

the camper [on the left]is being restored,
it has 83k on the clock,is a 1984,with a tidy interior, [in vw terms]

its a 1.6 d and runs well, but has stood for two years....

and it cost 900 bucks....ebay classified..with a bit of bartering

75 quid in fuel to collect free van use,and a tenner for the trailer hire...

the camper needs a cill,and arches, and prob some underneath welding
but its in good nick really and worth a lot more when complete...

interior...

drivers bit....

they have a certain appeal ... a bit slow 4 me though,,

the camper has a rat no plate ..

they are a bit slow for me aswell but they do ride nice and you can always drop a real engine into em.
porsche,subaru, audi and ive seen them with granada v6,s in.
