You'd have to pull the manifold off and convert it to carb as without an ECU that ain't doing diddly.
In fact, for it to be FI you'd need the ecu, wiring loom, keybarrel and key. However it will wonder where it's transmission and other bits are...
It can be converted to RWD as it will take a TH700R4 transmission but you need to modify the starter or tranny casing (I forget which).
Not sure what they're like on carbs but as an FI engine it's phenomenal, smooth, quiet and powerful. It's ok at low revs but at 3,500 in comes on cam and doesn't let up until 6,250 but if you're in an adventurous mood the limiter doesn't kick in until 7,000rpm. You'll only ever see it in top though as the ecu will force an upshift (even if you think you've limited it by moving the shifter into 1st or 2nd or whatever) at 6,500rpm in lower gears to stop you over revving it.
The STS official top speed is 150mph but one of the guys on the Caddy forum has got his up to 157mph and he wasn't at the limiter yet (his nerve gave out as blowing one is not cheap).
