Question for you PC guru's ?

When you want to post a picture hosted on the internet, you have to right click and copy the properties ( i.e web address ) , then paste the address between the img/img tags.

This is such a pain in the ass, is it possible to set up a hotkey ?
So that when your cursor is over the picture it just copies the address and then adds the img/img tags when you paste ??

Well seemed like a good idea to me, but I'm old lazy and really can't be bothered to learn computers.

I mean if they are that smart they'd do all the crappy things like that themselves.

I don't think there's a way to do that automatically, the only other way is copying the address bar but thats if you have only the picture you want on screen...

yup ryans right, unless there is a specific bit of software out there (dont know of any) that allows you to do that then nope - either need right click or open the pic then copy/paste

that happens now on photobucket...

ya click a bar containing the img tags and its copied

Not sure, but in Safari on the Mac you can just click and drag the photo into your post window and it puts the url in there for you as text, just add img tags...

Maybe Internet Exploder does the same on the PC?

if you run a decent browser such as firefox or netscape, you just right click and go to 'copy image location'

none of this highlighting rubbish that IE sufferers have to do

Not quite the same, but copy the URL as you have been, then rather than typing the img tags, click the 'Image Link' button just above the post box (between the Underline and URL link buttons) Paste the URL into the box that appears and click OK, and it adds the img tags for you.
