Well guys,

So far:

Exhaust has been fitted
Seats are being re-covered
Engine serviced
Electronic Ignition fitted

Half of the Gauges didnt work and after speaking to a few people in the US the only viable option was to repair the Gauge Circuit Boards. I did this and it then turned out the Gauges were at fault and were totally shagged. The gauges arent available new, NOS ones cost $$$$$$ and nobody on ebay will ship a cluster over here.
So to solve the problem ive just ordered a brand new set of VDO Black Faced Gauges from Summit at the Grand price of $150. It comes with everything needed for instalation.

Tmw I will be installing the new Electric fuel pump from Real Steel and new Radiator hoses. I will also be refitting the gauge cluster just for the speedo so i can use it next week.

Im dead happy so far and cant wait till its a pukka!!!!!

I'll warn you - you only see about 20% of the car . . . . . . Just enough primer to realise it's the Dart !!!

Found the Piccy . . . It's in "August 2002's Classic American"

I'll be sorting it out soon . . . . You can actually see more of the Dart then I remembered . . . . .

Update:

Had a problem with ordering of the gauges from Summit, they were put on backorder till the end of June so I upgraded to a better set!! LOL They should be with me ASAP.

Fuel Tank was 20mm longer than advertised so another is coming this week to replace it.

Looking at the rear suspension today and the Leaf Springs look decidedly dodgy, as in not the right ones for the car plus the air shocks which I hate.
New Shocks are on order as we speak (type) and Leaf springs are being researched atm too.

I could do with selling my Guitar Amp to pay for the springs mind!! LOL

The Satin Black paint is sorted as too is the primer.

All i gotta do now is make a dash panel to fit the gauges too which isnt going to be easy due to the shape of it!!

We are getting there guys!!!

Just got the new Starter Relay and Trans filter kit through from USAuto!!!!

Can start to put her back together next week

Plus I got the hubs for bigger wheels so I can try the cougars wheels next weekend.
