The 4th Gen is more 3rd Gen than 4th Gen

, basically the same car with new panels and trim etc

Frankly I like the 3rd gen interior, it has more character (even if it is fragile).

Anyhoo - I checked last night and to my surprise I actually don't have speakers in my door panels (not sure what made me think I did have them?), so I wouldn't need to worry about that.

Ryan - Do your 4th gen ones have speaker holes?

Andy - Let me know if mine are of interest to you, and I'll take a few pics and put them on here.

The ones we have do have space for speakers but there are grills over them so you can't tell there's no speakers there. I'll see if I can find the Piccy...

He's assured me he won't be selling his for a long old time.

Anyway, of course there are much more desireable cars out there, but for someone on a limited budget with next to none mechanical knowledge, it's ideal.

I'd prefer something 35 years old, but can't afford to buy a good one, and don't have the ability to restore one!
