Regarding the Fiero there fixing the mechanical bits then checking the alignment. if thats ok they will continue with the body work....if not then they will "rethink"

Though dumping a nice engine in is actually a serious consideration mostly cos of the unfathomable (spelling?) injection/EGR system. returning less than 20mpg!!! cant be right.  That car needs a carb

Any good, cheap ideas will be seriously considered.  I was going to sell her but now i've started taking my push bike to work and am saving £30 a week on fuel   I may reconsider

and grab the engine

another big If.....

If Steve decides to keep the engine from his smashed up Camaro the car he would be putting it into is a V6...

hmm.  interesting but its never just a drop in is it there must be lots of things to change nothing is ever simple, cheap or easy.

of course there is allways the option of selling and saving for a firebird
probably V6 for economy, saying that if Ryan can get 30mpg! out of his 305V8 and I get less than 20mpg out of a 2.8 V6 must be a problem somewhere.

the 32mpg was on a run to & from Lincoln some bits of traffic but it was mostly cruising at 70 - 80mph

Seems to make very little difference how I drive her but generally very light on the Gas and 55-60 on the A5 to work and back.

Of course I have my fun with it

But for daily runs i'm pretty careful so I don't think thats it.

Yup.

Watch out tho' - DJ's the high bidder on that one !

I'd recommend an RS Camaro - 2.8L . . . Many were manual.

Or 305ci Third Gen for ease.

We need a 1st gen to finish the set.  How cool would it be to have a row of camaros in date order.

A 1st gen would be a Duster replacement and that just aint gonna happen.
