yup was just an HT lead severed somehow.

Does explain the poor performance and MPG.

He noticed as soon as he started the engine....none of us noticed it

Yup just after I bought the car. Must have somehow severed when closing the boot/engine comparment.

Even when we where looking for the fault it took us a few minutes to find, was one of the back ones.

not on mine you Bl00dy can't! there tangled & buried behind all the other carp thats in there (NOT fish!)

and the 'by the side of the valve cover' loom thingys I bought won't fit because of all the air injection carp

there's that fish again!
