Kenny's getting hitched mid-january so I was thinking late jan/early feb ?

I would like to come

How would mid/late February sound?  I'll be back in the country by 9th Feb (honeymoon), so any weekend after that would be great!

15th - 17th February

O.K, peeps, I've been asked about this a few times now so can people have a look in their diaries and check if this date is O.K for them or not.

Kenny . . check to see if thumb allows you out . . I'd ideally want it earlier but don't mind holding out a couple of weeks if you can definately make it.

The proposed details are as follows :

Venue :

Castle Roadkill (#1)

Dates :

Friday 15th Feb.  Meet round mine and set up . . . game away until the early hours.
Saturday 16th Feb. A day of solid gaming.  Maybe a movie in the evening.
Sunday 17th Feb.  Get a couple of hours gaming in in the morning . . maybe pop to the local (two meals for one) for lunch and a beer.

Accomodation :

Subject to change

Spare room one - (the double room) Good for two people minimum.
Spare room two - (with single bed) Good for one . . . maybe another on the floor ?
Dining room - Room for two, easy.
Lounge - Room for 2 on the sofas, plus another two on the floor.

So can accomodate easy 8 peeps for sleeping.

As far as actual space for gaming goes, the sofas can take four, I'll be at my desk.  There's space for more in the lounge and dining room . . . and even the larger spare room if we had cables long enough.

So again, about 8.

Parking :

Simply.  Limited.  I can fit another vehicle outside the house (reserved for long distance travellers) plus there's almost always a space just across the road free.

So minimum 2 vehicles but I can have a word with my neighbour (across the road) who has offered use of his drive way before (this would be for one-two cars that DON'T leak oil and I'd need advanced warning).

For day visitors there's pretty safe parking at the local centre which is 300 yards walk.

The Games :

I'm fairly open on this . . . for discussion.

on a sofa space. (plus Podette's previous on a spare room)
Parking would be handy, unless we could leave our car at someone else's and get a lift from there to Castle Roadkill....

Don't mind which games. BF2 would be good. The driving one (can't remember the name now) is always good for a laugh.
We can also bring our Wii and/or controllers if required.

the same seat I had last time (Sofa with back to wall & in the corner) this is mainly because of my speakers & sub.

I'll bring my campbed for sleeping so i'll kip on the floor somewhere.

Is TF2 an actual stand alone game, or does it require the HL2 engine??
