Can we confirm games, please ?

I need to know what I can / can't run plus what I need to load onto my machine . . .

EDIT

11 gamers is an odd number !

Well, its looking like Matt might only be here part of the weekend, and i'm still not 100% sure he'll bring a PC  so its basically 9.5 - 10.

Games,

BF2 (why not eh )
BF2142 (I have discs & patches)
Old BF's?  maybe... (Ian has everything)
Flatout UC (Chris has an installer... and provided everyone can run it, if not...)
Flatout 2 (maybe with some mods if I can be arsed)
Unreal Tournament 2004 (I have Discs, patches, extra levels etc etc)

thats all that springs to mind atm...

I may well drop my machine over the night before (along with my other stuff) and come straight round on the bike.

That O.K ?

Yeah no problem, i'd imagine you'll be 1st setup (apart from me that is )

I'm going over to Cambridge this weekend to see the Poddington Peas so will take everything with me so Phil is all setup in advance too.

Instructions Dump...

Widscreen resolution support for UT2004

Run the game once, and open the ut2004.ini file in a text editor, and find the following lines:

FullscreenViewportX=
FullscreenViewportY=

Set these to your desired resolution, i.e.

FullscreenViewportX=1440
FullscreenViewportY= 900

What's the sleeping arrangements ?

I'm planning on staying over Friday and saturday but Sammy's working on saturday (so she would need to retire early and be up and leave for work).

Is there a bedroom available ? ()

If not then it's not really fair to keep Sammy awake til f*ck knows when if she's got work the next day.

Also, If I can't sort something else out, is there any room in your garage, Ryan, for my bike ?

The Pods have called on my brothers room, but the spare room is avaliable, albeit only with a single bed... there is enough room on the floor in there for another person if you 2 wanted that room.

Apart from that there's loads of floor space downstairs and in my room, or failing that its pitching tents in the Garden...

There might be, it depends how far forward I can get the IROC, the other possibility is storing it on one of the paths in the front garden, trouble is there's nothing to lock it too...

Titsy,

I had assumed until now that it would be ok to use your projector for the wii / DVDs / whatever in the dining room, so to be polite is that ok?

Cool, can I call , and I'll speak to Sammy tonight and see what she wants to do . . . I don't mind kipping anywhere but If sammy's got work on saturday I'm sure she'd appreciate a bit of peace and quiet.

I'm having SERIOUS problems installing BF2 by the way guys, it absolutely will not Patch, i'm going to try re-downloading the 1.41 patch again (all 536MB of it) but from what people on other forums i've found have said there's no fix for this problem (well done EA, you've done it again) its just sheer luck if it works... 30 attempts so far and no luck for me i'm getting annoyed now
