Well im back from my trip to london to see the specialist about my eye.
Thanks to edge for meeting at lunch even if he did send me on a route march around london to find him lol
Now for the results
As some of you know my vision in my left eye is not good due to having pellucid marginal degeneration, 1 in 16k people are affected by this and the consultant was shocked how bad mine was
he estimates i have 5% vision in my left eye and that i will need a corneal transplant. So thats whats going to be done.
The left eye also has the same mutation but in a very early stage and will also need treatment but this time it will be C3R which basically involves using UV light to set the cologen in the eye rigid, he estimates this will last 5 years plus.
So after being scanned and probed and various drops in my eyes i came home. Its not easy to drive with dilated pupils, they must be almost 10mm across
