These in kit form have been around since early 90's. Late 60's early 70's Cougars had LED upgrade kits and have done for donkeys years. All they've done is change the shape. Plus cougars had seqential as standard. My old one ran with them with no problems from the right MOT centre.

Still bloody cool!

General Banter / Engineers help please
April 16, 2011, 05:10:19 PM
Right, we've got 2 Mountain boards and want to retro fit go kart wheels on them to enable us to use them on soft sand.
Heres the problem, the boards trucks have either 10mm or 12mm axles, the go kart wheels use 3/8" internal bearings.
Ideally id like to get some:

10 or 12mm internal x 35mm (3/8") external bearings. Now these dont seem to exist.

Anyone got any ideas?

Spanks

If only someone had suggested you check fuel pressure with a gage or press of the schrader valve on the fuel rail...

Hehehehe

If your not driving the car, the fuel WILL gel over time. Seen it many times. Just last week I dropped the tank of a friends firebird. He drives it like you and the tank had a load of gunge in the bottom of it.

Its usually helped along by cold weather too.
Have you managed to test the fuel rail pressure?

Is it still possible to buy a classic yank with mot for around £1k?

Now im talking a beater, and pre 70, ideally but def' pre 80.

I wanna buy my old man a car but have limited budget, i need to keep a few thousand aside for repairs on said car but to make it viable the car needs to be as cheap as possible.

Im coming over early 2011 so thats the time scale.

Oh and before someone says anything, just under 3 years ago I bought a 67 Dodge Dart for less so it used to be possible.
Is it still? anyone?

on the car side im thinking of sudgesting a subaru legacy or forester

ive got a outback, which is basically a legacy estate with a bit more off road credentials. i cant fault it.
lovely understated cars.

What was it like in the snow you guys had?? He lives in Bonny Scotland and gets snow every year.
