fairs fair fellers if Christ aint phoned the guy it aint right to slag him off publicly until we know for definate theres been a wrongdoing

and if he reads this he might tell Chris to take a hike anyway

just my take on it

I have phoned and emailed on many occasions just not in the last few weeks as I have been busy or out of the country!

time to get legal on his ass.....

the guy is a theif..

just think how much interest he has earned / you have lost, from having your money sat in his bank account.. you need more than £3500 back, more like £3900 by now

this guy couldnt be waiting for something from you chris could he, like cam choice or something daft?  I know its no excuse for him but if he's waiting on something from you and you've not called him in the past year then maybe he figures you've disappeared or whatever.

Has he got all your details of where to ship it too or are you arranging and paying for your own courier?  Or did you pay him to ship it?

If the motor is ready, and youve paid for shipping etc maybe hes just waiting for you to call and confirm your address or something, and if hes lost your details......

It doesnt hurt to give the guy a call, use telediscount and the USA is only £0.01/min so there's no reasone to hang off the redial button until he answers.

Like I said, if it were me I'd be caling every 5 minutes, thats a lot of money to chase.

I think it's been a few weeks, not a year.

He's been chased, he has all the details and Chris has left various messages with his secretary and on his phone - he's just simply avoiding being contacted, now.

I agree Chris should've chased more in the beginning but he's done plenty over the course of Andy having the money.

THe engine (apparently) has been needing "just the heads fitting" for over 18 months !

The guy talks sh!t, and is full of it.

It's not a case of misunderstanding OR lack of information.

I've spoken to him over the phone and didn't get a particularly impressed feeling when we spoke . . . the guy should never have taken on the work.

But, now, after nearly three years it doesn't matter how you look at it.

The guy's a con artist and a theif !

i dunno dude,

has chris spoken to him and tried to arrange a courier to collect it, that might poke him on to bolting the heads on and putting it in a box...

has chris paid the guy in full, i know he's paid him this £3500, but maybe the guys waiting for more?  I dont, and I bet no one else knows ALL the details, so this is pointless really,

The original price included shipping to the U.K so why the hell should Chris organise a courier ?

Secondly, he has paid in full - this I do know, as I remember the original email correspondance.

Chris also paid him extra for an intake and headers, I believe, so he could have a "running" motor when it arrived.

oh right, as i said, i dont know all the details, hence why im not arguing any ones side, just trying to make sure all the info that people think they know is correct.

then i go back to my original point...

keep calling him 'til you get a result, maybe its best if you arrange and pay for your own courier, if you have to spend £500 to get back your £3500 that seems like the way to go...

Chill guys,  i'll get it sorted one way or another.

tbh I don't need or want the engine anymore. I just need to call him (easier said than done I know) and ask for my money back or at the very least see if he can sell it on to someone in the States (as there would be a far bigger market out there)

I think he should be happy to do so as it would save him finishing it and i'm sure he can get more money than I payed.

I know its mostly my fault, I'm lazy, forgetful and I paid up front

No man, its not your fault, I HATE waster scum like this from what ive been reading thinking they can just take hard-earned money and get away with it, and most of them do. Fuk if I took 3.5k from someone and palmed them off with excueses for years I bet everything would be thrown at me to get the cash back.

You have paid for a product that has not arrived. Fraud and theft, simple as that.

Wow, is that a new addition to eBay ? - I hadn't noticed that one before.

I reckon you'll see over £500 for it when it ends.
