(p.s. Any plans to change the forum software? PHP.BB maybe? )
I'd love to BUT there is no direct migration route from MiniBB to PHPBB so it would really be a long winder, PITA to do - essentially i'd need to migrate to another 3rd party forum software, then export from there and then import into phpbb (when i last looked) so TBH it's so much work that i'm struggling to see the benefits currently

If the hosting lapses and the forum goes down and no one can find Ian, we will all know he is having a good time
So CP, how much of a good time can you have for $402.41... (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/wink.gif) (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

just reading stuff... and not posting
Yah, leaches. You need to put in to take out. I try my best to answer questions on the Jeep Club forum and EarlyBay as I take plenty from them. I use VZi a lot too, but I mostly post funny topics on there as there are plenty of (almost too many) people keeping the technical areas filled.

all in all the forum is a great local resource ,
Yes, I am sure it is the core-people here that makes it so appealing. It is fast and fun. Literally, it opens quickly (thanks to Ian's maintenance (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/clap3.gif)) and there is a range of topics discussed.
As I have said before, it is good to read about American cars, modifying a chair in your garage, a funny picture or to ask for advice and opinions.
Pretty impressive really that this place ticks over, especially as there is only really 4 or 5 main topic starters!
