I want to copy my video tapes on to the computer.

hmm dejavu - dean was asking about this not 2 wks ago - he borrowed a TV capture card from chris and recorded it to AVI on his PC!

I have, I used an Elgato EyeTV Hybrid USB tv tuner dongle that has an svideo in on it. Used the supplied software to do the recording.

Don't know if Elgtao's work on PC's but cleartly there must be a PC equivalent, maybe by Miglia?
