Basically looking to spend a few quid on her as the manifold I have is crap and runs out of puff by 3,000 revs.

Bargain price and appears to come with all the fittings Edelbrocks don't.

Plus it's shiney.

It's just that there's a "port" on the side (middle, front as viewed) that I don't recognise ???

Still - If it went for £159.99 - I'd be about the same price as getting one from the states . . . (inc. Duty + Tax + Shipping)

The general lay-out is very similar to an Edelbrock, TBH.
Water In/out lets give it away IMO.

The price says it's not US made.
Although the use of Steel cast IS a Bonus - compared to standard Edelbrock ones . . . .

The Cyclone brand is a chinese rip off from memory, chances are the machining of the die castings wont be great. The copy manifolds dont allways have the best port symetry etc meaning they dont perform properly

Could you use of the "Free Extras" in the picture be to throw people off the similarity in shape..?

Well I didn;t know if he was trying to pull a dodgy or not, if its identical in shape to an edelbrock one but lesser in quality could he be putting the adapter plate on top to disguise this??

Dunno, just being pessimistic

Mmm, lovely - you could get one of them to match uneven cylinder compression

No, not done to disguise it, just as an extra selling point is all.

the Later model conversion bushes are handy, though as the Torker II on mine (a 92) has been (BADLY) drilled-out to fit.

My bad.

Brain disengaged.

The Torker II is for 3,000 + revs.

I got it backward.

Problem is it's gutless to 3,000 revs . . . after this it's not great either . . .

I think you need the right camshaft for that intake mate, people think you can just bolt any part on to a V8 and it will work

The Torker II is designed to be for 3,000+ useage.

Which sucks on initial pick-up.

Matters could be improved, but you'd still struggle for anything decent at low revs.

I had a Torker II on my sprint car, but then we were revving 4-5.5K
