well its that time of the year again.  We are off to Whistler in Canada.  on the 30th August.

Honest Ian we realy are going but no truck involved, but some damn crysler or some other car will be involved.

General Banter / RIP Bunty 1992 - 2009

Bunty was a great cat full of beans enjoyed life as cats do and always liked a game or two with his toys.

But alas the last few months he was suffering with a tumor in his head and nose, his quality of life went down hill very quickly.

We took the decision to put him to rest today a very sad day after 17 years but we felt it to be the best for him. So at 15:15 29/04/2009 Bunty was gone no more suffering for him, he had also stopped eating and was unable to sleep in the last 2 days.

I will miss his silly ways.

RIP Bunty no more pain mate.

We still have his sister and she is 18 years old so a pic of both together.

It was nice working with you vicky and ian i didn't really know you but you were always part of my day if you know what i mean.

Well its bloody hot here and the ruddy servers aint arrived ah well bit more time for looking around then init.

here for 12 days putting in a whole new comms system and changing the domain to the one used by the new overlords.

the newer BMW 3 series need love too... or to put it another way the newer 3 series suffer from an electrical design fault i knew about it but ignored it till today.

rear light cluster suffers from an earthing fault, normally if a bulb fails the emergency system takes over and uses the brake light etc for indicating or whatever.

But the earthing problem causes the whole cluster to go out and is well know so tonight in the bloody dark i rewired it, on the cluster is a convenient male fixture but the earth is wired to a plug that fecks up and corrodes but this seems to only affect the earth wire nothing else again well know.

so me snips a bit here and crimps a bit there and plugs the earth onto the new receptor on the cluster and job done.  Troubles over.

Mind you I have also rewired a articulated trailers leccy in the services on the M6 @ 04:30 in the morning before now.

So just because i drive BMW and work in IT doesn't mean i am a dick.

Nokia N70

and a Snooper camera detector, it costs £4 per month for the updates but it has saved my license more than once.

Reasons:

i changed from PAYG to contract but the phone is unlocked.

i bought a sat nav with TMC and camera site detection.  And if anyone is thinking of a sat nav then the viamichilin 970T with TMC is da bomb it will re-route if there is an accident etc ahead...

£150 the pair make me an offer.
