Seems ages since I updated this . . . . (that's what a holiday does to ya').
Got loads done at the weekend - I was pleasantly surprised.
Thanks to Ian for assistance on saturday - sunday I was on my own but made some major advancements.
The "long side" is now 99% finished (just requiring some timber to cover the ends of the felt), the "window end" is finished being clad and sealed, just needed the windows themselves and the "door side" now has all the framing done, cladding cut and treated, ready to be fitted.
EDIT - We also got gravel boards fitted to the "window end" and "door side", too.

Note that the gap actually reduces down to
3mm near the bottom (the fence leans over slightly).
