And another thing, when getting my tyres done the guy fitting them said :
"ere, Mate, you wanna get these (brake) pads done - you've only got a mil left"
My reply :
"Until they start grinding they're fine . . . even then I'm good for a few more miles . . ."
Gonna find a public health warning sticker and put it on your car!!

Besides "Kettle calling the pot black" and all . . . didn't your T-Top come off at 90+mph going through the city (maximum 60mph limit) ???
Highway code says it's a 70 limit... (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)

Still. My perception's not bad . . . I haven't hit any 4x4's recently
Neither have I.... You have gone into the back of at least 2 cars that I know about, and one near miss where I was in the car, plus, I recall Managements van taking a dent or two thanks to you mr 'Pot Black' (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rolleyes.gif)
Quoting: Titsy
Highway code says it's a 70 limit...
It has to have a central reservation (solid barrier) to qualify as a 70mph.
All roads in MK have grass islands and broken barriers.
I was told that by a copper. (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/wink.gif)
Quoting: Titsy

Yeah.
Once I was drunk and the guy I hit was worse than me so it didn't count. (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/lol.gif)
The other time was going down hill in terrential rain and fading light - I hit a stationery car half on-half off a roundabout.
The driver was uninsured and on her mobile phone and didn't have her lights on.
Plus both cars were french so that can only be a score ! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/up.gif)

Yeah, I agree. Chris has hit my Caddy - big deal it happens. You hit a post and a 4x4, shifty hit a tree, chris scraped a wall . . we've all done it.
I've hit more things - but only 'cos I was trying to ! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/devil.gif)

I have heard this too, but it's not what it says in the highway code... I have yet to see it in black and white...
