Just been and collected the fuel lines for the poncho

Shiny things

Fuel hose

Went with goodridge 536 hose in -8 from the tank to the pump and from the pump to the regulator then -6 from rthe regulator to each side of the carb. Used swept fittings so as not to reduce the flow

Yup all the water lines will be blue silicone as well. Its all wipe clean and looks great with a spray of workshop silicone

Just under £230 but that was including 5m of -8 and 3m of -6 which are around £30 per meter each

That stuff is nice, but the price creeps up on you as you add the bits you need.

It all looks cheap individually, but you end up needing load of bits. (and it doesn't help when some of the bit's bought don't fit and you have to get even more).

I told you to go to silverstone i took my pump and regulator and made sure all the fittings were correct which was a good idea as the pump was different to the regulator even though they were made by the same company

For now, I've just been doing the visible bits - pump to carb.

I think there's a braided fuel line on the other car, if so, I'll pinch that, and maybe get the fancy fittings too.  

However, I have a nagging feeling that the fuel inlet on the stock pump is a fixed barb, and would have to be a hose clamp anyway
