Masking tape for curved stripes?
« on: August 13, 2009, 03:21:07 pm »
Anyone know what sort of tape to use to mask out some nice clean, curved lines?

I've tried using the flexible stuff from Halfords, and although it did the curves well, the edges were rough. As a consequence, I've had to sand it off and re-do it.  I don't want to have to do it three times!!!

I'm sure there is some form of fleixible plastic stuff that signwriters use, but I've not been able to find any.

You can get the proper tape from any paint factors in lots of thicknesses but for a cheap option you can use electrical tape
