Bought another set for £2 and then saw another stall with small very neat stainless steel ones for 50p each.

So replaced but cost me £4 (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/devil.gif)

I'd chop their hands off (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dalek.gif)

Spoke to some of the Corvette owners today who are going to Knebworth next weekend and they dare not leave their car unattended because other Corvette owners will steal their badges etc (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/shame.gif)

Kids nick 'em for their bikes.

I lost several sets including the Richbrook "security" ones when I had the Focus.

However, these never went walkies:

Question for you car buffs, not sure what type of adhesive/glue to use on the logo. The grille and badge are shiny smooth plastic!
Once I taken the black backing off the car (that bit had remained on) I noticed dodge have used rubber sealent (grey) similiar to what we would use in a kitchen/bathroom.

bit wary of use araldite type stuff?

You guys got any other suggestions?

p.s. with the backing removed and all cleaned up, I can see the scrath marks, where they tried to remove the whole badge, they just got the silver ram logo bit.

Most badges are held on with doubled sided foam tape now days.

Has it got a backing strip which peels off ?

In that case buy a couple of the outdoor type doulble sided foam pads and cut to shape.

I put the china house name plate on the wall with them a few years ago and can't get it off !

think badge would not sit right, got some pics think you'll see what I mean think only adhesive will do.

back of new badge.

http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a216/DCleary/Car%20Shows/The%20Ram/?action=view&current=IMG_1262.jpg

it's home, you can also see the marks on the right, where the little persons removed the original badge.

http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a216/DCleary/Car%20Shows/The%20Ram/?action=view&current=IMG_1265.jpg

how it should look when affixed

http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a216/DCleary/Car%20Shows/The%20Ram/?action=view&current=IMG_1266.jpg

it would sit a little higher and flush with the grille when in place, not sure if it would with a foam sticky back to it?

Dan, If it appeared to be a glue that held the badge on, it was probably 3M Weather Strip Adheasive.
