Personally I think we need to apply a 'no animated GIFs in avatar ' rule - they annoy the hell out of me.

I'd like to keep the option of having animated avatars, its the looping repettitiveness of them which I think gets annoying. So long as you make them up with a Long delay time on the last frame so they don't appear so mental I think it would be alright

An avatar is the pic on the left, below your name - bit like a siggy, but not.
Well you should know that I don't have the time learn all about computers but.......What's the difference between an Avatar & a Jpeg/giff etc ?
Avatar is just the name for the pic, it can be a jpg or gif.
