Can we do that (easily) ?
I've found the "quote" button but that quotes the whole post . . . . It doesn't seem to work the same as on the old forum where you highlighted a section and hit quote to put that in the reply box . . . ??

Yes. :taunt:
Just delete the text you don't need after pressing quote. :typo:
It actually works the way most other forums work where you get the whole post as a quote. The old MKB forum was actually unique with selecting only part of text.

To quote again but a different section, just press insert quote and delete other text you don't want to refer to. Alternatively, press quote once, copy the whole quote, then delete what you don't need, reply, then if you need the quote again to refer to a different part, just press paste and repeat the process.

Agreed, CP is right, I actually prefer it this way.
If I was to change anything it would be to make the reply text box taller than 7 lines, it's like typing through a letterbox if you have a large post to write with image links etc etc.

OK i've installed the Mod and it seems to work well, if you DONT highlight anything it quotes the whole post, if however you have a chunk of text highlighted, it quotes just that.
It seems to use the "quick reply" box though, not the full reply box.
let me know what you think, am happy to turn it back off, very easy to do now it installed.

If you use the "quick reply" it's limited to that, however it you use the full reply page, you can simply drag the bottom of the box down to as big as you want!!
