Very impressive and efficient breaking skills there, not much left on that! :cowboy:

How much did you get for the shell scrap? :dontknow:

The only thing left on the shell was the glass, and 3 scabby wheels,
i sold the front slam panel ,£60
had the flat piece of the roof ,for welding repairs,
all the drive shafts, diff gearbox, int, engine, carpet, fuel tank, calipers, discs,
most sold
i need to add up what i have taken, around £650 ... :yes2:

tbh
i told them to take the shell for nowt,
their local to me and ive known them for years,
they came within an hour of calling

so i was lucky, with scrap prices at the moment ,
i would possibly have had to pay to have it taken away , :o

i have a guy from vzi,
who is doing a strip down and refurb on the cheap 5 rib i bought,
and upgrading the gearing ratios by 10%
hes a lot cheaper than the likes of cogbox, and will probably do a better job..

For anyone whos interested, heres my bus and some progress on the project, its slow at the moment as the bus keeps breaking itself and cash is getting tight

You cant beat coco-pops gaskets

Owned it for a few weeks now, have an issue with stalling that needs sorting (not going to build up a new engine just yet) rebuilt the carb and tuned it a few times but still doesnt want to know

I also have to rebuild the front beam as the previous owner decided to bodge it to get it so low... So the ride is shockingly bad.. So a new weedeater beam from Creative Engineering and some decent shocks.. http://www.creative-engineering.com/cgi-bin/shop/web_store.cgi?page=beams.html&cart_id=2688_887

But while im at it, I bought some brake discs from a '71 bay to replace my drums which are pants..

7 years ago.... :crazy01:
