I've been looking on ebay.uk and thought I could get one and ship it over here for less than they are asking for them here though.

The truck is very solid.  Both subframes have been replaced along with the gas tank, brake pipes, and exhaust system. The steering and suspension have been completely overhauled.

Prior to refitting the subframes, the underbody was sandblasted, painted, and completely undersealed as shown in the photos.

The bodywork and paint are in excellent condition and no cosmetic work is required.

The pickup drives perfectly and is fast. There are no issues with the engine or transmission.  The clutch operates fine as do all the synchros.

There are no oil leaks

The front seats have been replaced with more modern and comfortable ones.

Located on the lower part of the passenger door is the factory identification plate which gives the truck's specifications.

These Mini pickup trucks are very difficult to find in this condition and are only appreciating in value.

The pickup has a current British Ministry of Transport Inspection Certificate, which is valid until October 2008, that verifies it has undergone a stringent mechanical and body inspection.

It was recently serviced and is ready to go. The Mini has a clear South Carolina title.

There is a spare wheel and tire located behind the passenger seat.  A bedliner as well as a new torneau cover and kit are also included with the truck.

The torneau cover is being fitted this week.

My buddy actually wants one like what we'd call a sedan delivery, no windows in the rear sides and back.

I found a pickup here, about 50 miles from me anyway.

It appears to be in very good nick, but she's asking $11,500.

A buddy of mine and I are toying with the idea of getting a couple of new toys.

He wants one of these....

I've been told by several different people that Dexcool should be flushed OUT at the earliest opportunity - using it has generated a number of lawsuits in the States for damage to motors - it sludges up over time apparently.

There were problems with DEX when it first came out several years ago but has been reformulated (about 4 years ago) and anything on the market now should be the new formula. To be safe, check the date of manufacture on the bottle.

Look at the cap on the overflow bottle; if it says DEXCOOL you need to have DEXCOOL in there. If it doesn't say DEXCOOL; ethelyne-glycol based coolant is just fine.

Basic rule of thumb is you can add DEXCOOL to e-g coolant systems but you CANNOT add e-g coolant to DEXCOOL.

DEXCOOL was initally designed for aluminum engines to prevent scale and corrosion of the aluminum.

And that's my lesson for the day. LOL

Yeah, I am!

Nuttin new to report actually, other than Managements' Muzzy being finished last week!

It now has a white roof instead of being all turquoise. Floor pans are all new, as well as carpet, headliner, motor and dash pad.

She's just happy to be able to drive it, it only took 3 years.
