Been years since I went to the Crawford/Crawfurd . . . Had my wedding reception in the big room at the back when I got married the first time.

Think the last time I went was for my Dad's 60th in the side room nearly 15 years ago !

it was the 1st time we have been ,
but all in all a nice venue, full of like minded people and some good beers,
will be back later in the year for a couple of other bands,

i had a couple of pints of Wychwoods gold hobgoblin ..what a nice beer...

all in all a good nite out, there was a support band from stony, and the venue is just right, plenty of room in the bars, and a room at the rear that holds around 300

i have had a scan through the pics and here are a selection  ...

a bit tricky to see all the band due to the dry ice, and the stage lighting

but im sure there good enough to give you an idea
but we saw enough being on the front row,
tbh
it was poorly attended with around 150 present, but it was the friday before the bank holiday ...

the bands will be in the hall at the back.

condsider not mounting it too high ..as i can give you a stiff neck looking upwards,
a few people i know complain of it ...
idealy it would be at eye level when your sitting down

Duely noted, I wanted to mount it central to the height of the windows / curtain drop, purely for my symmetry OCD satisfaction but it might be too high, I've got it stuck slightly lower than in the pics now to see what I think.  I'll spend some time this week watching the black rectangle and see how I get on  do you reckon I can get a big printout of Mock the week on Dave to put on it :rofls:

Edit: You know whats just struck me, with the curtains either side it makes it look a bit like the old cinemas where they pull curtains back before the film :)

I'm sure CP could photoshop something on it for you.. :chiny:

i dunno
no one goes to the cinema and says the screen was too big,  ???

i have the 100 inch [why are we still using inches...?] projector screen, 8)
that is fecking big but great for gigs and movies...
