At an install cost of, say, £2250, you'd have to use 1000 gallons to save enough to cover the install.
At PhilO's suggestion of 20mpg on LPG, that would be 20,000 miles driving to break even.

But it's not just the overal cost but the weekly/monthly budget. Half the weekly running costs makes it easier per pay packet.
Plus if I do go this route and the fact I will be doing 600 miles a week then in less than a year I'd have made my money back.
Yes I have T-tops so don't really want to lose the boot space where they sit.
