A 331 or 347 stroker kit would be great, but much further down the line due to cost. I'd probably want a new block at that stage anyway.

Looking good and the pictures may be a good reference for when you come to put it back together again !

That's exactly how I learnt to work on cars, taking them apart and then spending a lot longer trying to get them back together again

The heads are off. One of the headers is off too (need another pair of hands for the other one). Still only just getting started...

Black will hide more crap than the yellow.

The car is never going to be perfect - the main part of the plan is to make it go faster. The rest is just tidying/cleaning/painting stuff up as I go along.
