surely you would expect cash on collection

Im always weary of gaypal payments as I have read sooo much about charge backs, accounts being suspended etc etc..

For big things like that I would try and get cash on collection or at least try and get the money moving from your pay pal account into your bank account. Imho just becuase its in your paypal account, doesnt mean its your money

I dont see how its the sellers fault

A Paypal chargeback/reversal can stay active for 75 days so he had plenty of time to deal with it and get his money from the blokes credit card company(which is who does the chargeback NOT paypal). Paypal are involved strictly because a person uses them as a financial 'Go-Between'.

he can still dispute with paypal.. ultimatley bitching about it is easier than doing the legwork to get his money back. I vote dumb too..
