£429 is the price on the paper... which is obviously wrong.. in WHICH universe do they think I'm paying over £100 more than last year, thats around 30%.. fook off

Now I subscribe to the infinite number of universes theory, so in some of the universes my saleen is finished, the fox body is painted and the house is done, but I can assure you, in NO universe am I paying £429 to insure the fox.....

FFS.. i just called the original guys, who sent me the renewal... the price has gone up (due to me changing some bits to match the other quote) to £536.....

pah, got it down to £299 and called it a day... life's too short to spend any longer trying to beat them down another tenner....
