These things go for over a grand - I don't think I need to worry about a reserve.

My bro's "reserve" is well under a grand but still a major wedge.

I know what you mean about Snap-On.  Sure they're good but half the cost is the name.

Yah, apparently in CostCo there is a similar cab in black, but a 'no-name' one. It also has a pull out work-bench - all for around 500 quid new. But I haven't got a CostCo card so won't be looking..

CSPS is the company name, from memory.

I have one, albeit it it's the Big-Daddy version and in Stainless, wider then this Snap-On and a lot taller, too.

Build quality is certainly comparable (if not better, actually) and it cost just under £700 from memory !

Not doing a good job of selling my Bro's Snap-On am I ?

CostCo's a dangerous place.  I always walk out with an empty wallet.

Those CSPS tool cabs are lovely.

While I like nicely made stuff, I've seen Snap On cabs going for thousands of pounds and frankly I think you need to be bonkers to spend that as you can get the same quality for a *lot* less.

To be honest I think their tools are over-rated as well.  The key thing with them is not really the quality/strength, it's the swap out warranty (which given the cost of the tools, you've paid for replacements a few times over already) and as other companies now offer such a service (inc Halfords Pro) it's no longer a unique selling point.

Cheers guys for the offer of a card, but I really should keep extra penny for the bus rebuild..
