How many cans of Spray paint will it take to spray the Dodge Dart??

Hello, Mate . . .

I used Simoniz satin black 500ml rattle cans to do chris' Duster (quite successfully me thinks . . .

I think I used 36 in total . . . . The Dart's a shade bigger plus it has an extra set of doors so I'd guess 40.

I worked on the assumption of 3 per wing, 2-3 per door, 3-4 roof etc . . . plus overlap.

The place where we got the paint from got us it in in bulk so it cost well under £100 in all.

That was Chris' Duster - mid paint - in Late December.

I sprayed it over a period of about 3-4 Days . . . .

Oh yeah one more thing. When you had the Dart, can you remember if the wheels were 5x4" or were they changed to 5x4.5"??

Not sure but I'd highly doubt that they were changed from stock.

It still had the "Reverse thread" studs on one side of the car.

The car was a US MOD car brought over in '75 . . . Had very little work/customising/TLC in it's life.

Also, from memory it had silly size wheels . . . 13" (???)

These were the originals (I noticed they were changed - this was after I sold her).

Well she's here. Does need work but its going to be a fun rolling 'minor' resto. Im not going the whole hog on her like I am the Cougar, just going to get everything working and running sweet.  The only bit of bad rot is on the underside of the boot lid. Bit of POR15 and that'll do.

She sounds like crap, looks like she's seen better days but is going to cool in 2 months!!
Fitting electronic ignition tmw along with new plug leads and vacuum hoses. Got to get a different manifold and carb as shes only got a USAF 1 bbl on there atm.
If anyone knows or has an Intake and small ish Carb for sale that will fit a 273 please let me know ASAP.

I think the 273 and the 318's are the same . . .

Chris had a old 2 BBL Carter . . .something similar will do . .
