Roadkill

As above.

Let us celebrate the dark, cold winter months by killing us some virtual zombies/nazis/terrorists/robots/etc/etc . . .

They'll be 3 kegs of home brew on the go (but I make no promises as to how full they'll be), I'll sort out some munchies and snacks and will fire up the BBQ if people wanna get crazy on the Saturday night.

Spare room available (single bed).

Main venue will be the conservatory (should be pretty warm as the blinds are being fitted next week).

I may even set something up on FB . . . if I can be ar$ed.

EDIT

I won't be gaming on the Saturday night (7-11ish) as I'll be Jensen-sitting so am happy to BBQ / stick a film on etc . . .

Incursus

Got a dirty weekend booked in Bath that weekend..

...no seriously, we do.

Games ?

Dunno - most of us have . . err . . Worms, now, don't we ?
Death by Toilet is always a good chuckle, too.
Wouldn't mind doing some old skool Battlefield, too ?
Unreal - Even if just for the death-tally voice-overs.
Pacific carriers ??
???

Please

Worms - Yep, got to get some value for moneu from the £2 cost
Death by Toilet - Yep, as said always good for a laugh.
Battlefield - Yep, I will need to install it again though
Unreal 2004 - Yep agreed
Pacific Carriers - Yeah why not, just an excuse to bomb the Germans

Did anyone else Buy Dirt Showdown in the sale last Xmas?
I also have a cool Pinball game which we could have a go with (Taking turns)

Planetside 2 - I'd like to give this a go with you guys, if your systems will play it (should do), its free to play from here:

Now obviously I have a lot of upgrades in-game for this and we would be playing against (and with) loads of other people which would be both a benefit and a drawback but I can help you out.

If you want to play this i'd recommend starting an account & installing the game now, the reason for this is because the "Accrued by playing the game" in-game "certs" build up passively each day, and if you logged in to collect them prior to the LAN you'd have some to get some basic upgrades at thats time.
To get the most from this you'd have to collect them every day (otherwise the accrual maxes out, very cunning of them), but I understand thats a bit OTT maybe but having some extras at the start would be handy.

If it won't work or you're not interested then no worries.

Planetside 2

If you wanted to play this you'd need to create a Character on either:

Server: Mattherson (US East)
Race: Vanu Soverignty (VS) (This is my Main character)

or

Server: Cobalt (Europe)
Race: New Conglomerate (NC)

Let me know if you're going too because then i'll send you an invite, i might get shiny ingame rewards that way

Don't mind giving it another go . . . It's O.K, invariably I'm particularly $hit at these type of games !!!

FUBAR

Maybe (give more upgrades etc) I can act as a better guide this time, and give a better tutorial

I do still die a lot though, sometimes you just have to throw yourself into the proverbial meatgrinder on these things

Ian.  Remind me when you're about and when you're working . . .

FUBAR

+ one on the reminder, also would you be able to pick me up again please

Dean, I'd like to not bring my desk with me this time because its a PITA to move and its covered in stuff, would I be able to use your dining table instead if we move it into the conservatory? or do either you or Ian have another spare table I could use?

I'm also thinking of possibly bringing the big RC car over if Ian can give me lifts and if there's enough room given no desk. Can then take it out for a run around that little track near your place, that is if its all back in 1 piece by the weekend. sound ok?

Yeah, cool.

I know Ian's working some of the weekend (and I forgot when, exactly) but if you need a lift and Ian's not available I'm sure I can help.

Seen above :-)

If  can i'll pick you up but might be easier for dean to if he's around more ?

Coooool would be sweet to see it running on the Saturday - don't mind running you home on Sat to pick it up and take it back ;)

FUBAR

A quick run back on Saturday is a good idea, probably between your 2 commitments that day would be best because then it will be daylight.

Runtime will be entirely dependant on whether anything breaks or not and the weather, not going out to play if its raining.
