Been up in the air for the last year or so. We have all been told that next year the season is still going ahead with two races there (First May Bank hols and August Bank Hols).
From what I understand not a huge amount anyone can do about it. Councils across the Country are being pushed to develop more bits of land to build houses. What I got told is the previous owner of Shakey died and left the property to a group of relatives, it is now up to them I guess to decide whether to sell the land (arguable now with planning permission worth a lot more) or keep it running as a Drag Strip / Aerodrome.
All that I can say is if people have been putting off plans to use it, next year don't, as it more than likely won't be there for much longer.
Maybe even MKB could put together a club outing there?
