It's a shame when old cars die . . .

There was no chance (IMO) of her ever seeing the road again.

The sills were rotten through as was much of the floor pan . . . Many Humbers went the same way - they are beautiful cars (i've had 4) - but when they rot they ROT.

The remains (after I've taken my bits off) will be offered on ebay.

The reason why the roof was removed was simply because ever since I got my first Humber S/S I wondered what it would look like as a 'Vert.

I Think everyone agreed it was an improvement . . . Who knows ? Maybe one day I'll do it properly.

Thanks to all who helped out, and Who will be at the next stage.

just 1 thought... while you're making loads of sparks cutting the thing up i'm going to be doing stuff to my fuel system, is that strictly Safe???

It'll be fine. It's surprisly hard to catch fire to petrol.

The sparks are only Hot for a split second.

Besides, I'll aim them elsewhere.
