The original file is tidy, it's just lost it when shrinking and saving as gif.  It would look better with a fixed background color.

Hopefully I can make something using vectors, that way resizing means losing no quality

2 problems with the background pic:

The template isn't downloading.
and,
I found this on the forums:
As about CSS - remember those users, who are not using Internet Explorer or latest Mozilla. Extended CSS will not work in these browsers. Thus, CSS can be displayed DIFFERENTLY in each browser (specially look at Opera).

I think most people use IE mate, i run Netscape and have no problem with CSS
