Ain't worth it mate because the frequencys will be the wrong American ones and it'll cost loads !

For our Astro we bought a Pioneer 40 watt single CD/radio jobby fitted for £70 at the local Chav Shop

You been spending money again ??

The link I posted is for a radio from a pickup but GM usually uses basically the same Delco radio across the board durring a model year except in the higher option packages and in Cadillac and Buick.

I would have to agree with F Body if you want functionality but if you're looking for an original radio to fill the hole the one I listed is a pretty good price for a guarenteed working radio. You could get one cheaper at http://www.car-part.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.car-part.com but may have to pay more for shipping.

BTW, everyone may want to bookmark this link http://www.car-part.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.car-part.com . It is a comprehensive listing of the major breaker yards in the whole of North America. Most of the yards that participate have links to their own web sites along with email links and toll free phone numbers.

Also, to do a search on this site you have to have a post code. Feel free to use mine, it is 29906.

Just checked - It couldn't find me a Crankshaft from the later ('59-'63) 390ci Caddy motors . . . .

This is the last major part (with rods) on my shopping list before the rebuild begins.

Must find a crank !!!

Yeah - after what we went through with the DiVyLA they had to have a "bomb" put under them

Apparently when I got the plates made up in Halfords in Bracknell he commented on them saying "he had seen so many TNT's recently" I joked with him saying they weren't orange letters plastered on the side of vans (being the courier company!) and he just stared at me as though I was crazy - lighten up please!!!!!!!!

Thanks m8,  we are having a think about it now.  Basically all we want is option to play music (want to get a CD multichanger in!) and listen to radio (which we have another method going into the van to do that )

I've noticed a couple of Astro's being broken on eBay (.co.uk), recently - Maybe worth giving one of them a email ?

There are several regulars on AACA and BCA forums that swear this fella can find anything if it's out there.
