As for camera locations, if you have autoroute then I can provide a file with all the fixed and mobile locations in the UK...
Stornoway here we come!
Seriously though the perfect road for sprint testing is the A507 between Shefford and the A1 (M). It's where I hunt hot hatches of a weekend, and the road has 2 mile straights with lanes wide enough to overtake down the middle.
I wound by mates old Imprezza P1 up to 140 on it once, and took his 350Z to 130.

I'd be interested in getting a logger on Rays car for a couple of runs at the Pod next season if he's willing... Ray?
Yeah, no problem as long as it doesn't interfere with any of the other electronics; ignition, air/fuel meter etc
Better still your gaffer could sponsor me.....with the race support lorry I've got 320sq ft of advertising space going begging

Nope, nothing like that.... just slap an antenna on the roof or rear wing and your set to go....

Always worth trying on, but unlikely for cash. Use of equipment for testing would be A LOT easier to convince on though...

Yeah I drive down this road twice a day, once on the way to Cambridge and once on the way home.
Leighton Buzzard by-pass is the same sort of thing, but generally with less traffic.
The A507 is always bussy nowadays and although I haven't seen them for a few months often has mobile camera's on it.

If we run VBoxes while recoding then I can overlay speed and G's etc on the video.... Shold be able to edit them at work too....
That'd be a laugh. Although I'd love to see just how accurate the speed limiter is in my z/28.

Talking tuning, does anyone here have anything like LS1Edit, EFI Live, HP Tuners or one of the hand helds for a 99+ Ls1 PCM?

You're in luck with that one!
You can change te following:
Parameter list
The Definition File costs $19.95, and I'll need a photo of your ODB connector to know what type of cable you need to use... If you're lucky and it looks like an OBD2 connector you will be able to use my cable; if it looks more rectangular then you'll need to get one, but they're cheap!

You're right there.... On the 'maro it's called 'Fuel Cutoff Speed', and 'Fuel Resume Speed'....
Was already set to 255MPH when I got the car though....
Any ideas what 'Boost Disable Speed' and 'Boost Resume Speed' would do on yours?

I've got LS1Edit and Efi Live for a 99 fbody but both are locked to the old PCM - which I still have - if there is any software guru out there who fancies a go at unlocking it give me a call.

How do you mean by locked??
I thought you just selected the year and it would work on any PCM (Vette/Fbody) of that year.
If you have no use for it, and it will work on my z/28 then I'd be willing to buy it off you. Guess it would be best to try it out first though.
Cheers.

They are locked to a specific VIN which is in the PCM, you can buy a licence for unlimited vehicles but it's $$$... The cheaper way if you only intend to use it yourself is to buy a one vehicle licence and it locks so that you can only use it with one PCM, whick is what Ra will have done.... Being as Ray isn't using the PCM any more the easy way around would be to swap or buy his PCM and fit it to your car so that you can use the software, but you'll need to get a stock setup to load into his PCM so you have somewhere to start from, as it would have been modified as the car was modified... Shouldn't be to diffiecult to get though as most stock setups are avaulable for when someone screws up...
