seriously helen who runs the compnay is ubber profesional and the whole process could not have been easier. You will need a freight froward agent in the UK to deal with customs but i can give you one of those as the old man has containers in every month at the time i used ultimex and i think they charged me £250ish and that included delivering the car to me as well

Cheers for the info.

How long did it take to ship back?

Reason I ask is I'm fed up of driving a Peugeot 106 as a daily driver and want something abit more comfy.

I rather fancy a Ford Thunderbird 1996/7 model year. Not massivly speedy but brisk and comfy. I've also seen them for sale in the US for around $1500.

well i bought mine in july and got it in december but i was waiting for a container share. If your going ro ro it should only be as long as it takes the boat. You might get lucky with a container share and it only be  couple of weeks, my car isnt exactly small so i think that was the delay
