thing is, there is probably enough empty bf2 servers for you to jump on, and i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be disturbed by anyone else, even if they did, it would be more for you to kill

Ok, I have a working 1.41 server set up.

I'm not sure whether I'll be able to run it 24x7 yet - depends how noticeable it is. Even if I can't, I can definitely set it going whenever necessary.

The IP is 131.111.196.107 and the password is 'MKB'.
No idea about teamspeak - never looked at that.

I would suggest a weekday evening, from 8pm, we tend to be busy weekends, especially in the summer.

that way we could set a day each month / fortnight / week and make it something regular.   and Free!

I'll try and leave it running from now (ish) over this weekend to see what happens.

Right, it's definitely up and running now.
It's Punkbuster enabled and allows the use of any weapon unlocks you've got.

Just leave it in the computer section. I don't mind if anyone else who reads the forum wants to join in - I can always ban them if necessary.
